“Buba, who made the call at a special breaking-of-fast dinner (Iftar) he hosted in Abuja, Monday for the staff and some selected stakeholders of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps said Nigerians had every reason to look ahead for better times given the indices of development that the current Administration has engendered in less than two years in office.
“While highlighting the significance of the holy month of Ramadan as a period of reflection, sacrifice, and compassion for the less privileged, he urged staff to cultivate a culture of respect and mutual understanding in the workplace and emphasized the importance of unity and teamwork in achieving NTAC’s core mandate and the Nigeria of everyone’s dreams.
“The event held to commemorate the Holy Month of Ramadan and to engage with citizens on the achievements of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps in the promotion of the foreign policy components of Mr. President’s Renewed Hope Agenda in the last one-and-half years were also aimed at fostering unity among staff, NTAC’s various stakeholders and Nigerians at large, regardless of religious affiliations.
“The very colourful event had in attendance Ambassadors and staff of various Agencies, Departments and Units of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, NTAC local staff as well as other stakeholders and friends of the Agency. The event created an avenue for informal discussions and team-bonding beyond the regular office engagements in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
“Among those who expressed gratitude to the Director-General for the very thoughtful initiative was Amb. Yakubu Abdullahi Ahmed, Director of Administration at NTAC. He lauded the event for its capacity to rejuvenate the entire NTAC workforce for greater productivity in the days and weeks ahead and even more so for providing the important opportunity for the world to not only hear, but understand the many giants strides the Tinubu Administration is making across the world through the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps” the statement concluded.
