NTAC DG receives Sokoto Deputy Gov, discuses Corps’ progress report

Director General of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Yusuf Buba Yakub has received Deputy Governor of Sokoto State, Alh. Idris Muhammad Gobir in his office in Abuja as they discuss progress report of the Corps.

In a statement released in Abuja Tuesday signed by NTAC Head of Information & Public Relations, Ojo A. Olubunmi, it noted, “As part of the Agency’s engagements with critical stakeholders of the NTAC Scheme, Director General of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Yusuf Buba Yakub today, Tuesday, May 20, 2025, received in audience the Deputy Governor of Sokoto State, H.E. Alh. Idris Muhammad Gobir.

“In a report shared today by the SA Media to the DG, Nkem Anyatta-Lafia, both leaders shared ideas on the mandate of the NTAC Scheme and the progress it has foisted on other developing nations across Africa, the Caribbean and Pacific Regions in almost the four positive decades of its operations.

“Strategies and suggestions were also advanced on deepening the impacts of the Scheme in the years ahead, especially in the non-English speaking countries with contiguous boundaries with Nigeria” the statement concludes.
