The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Yusuf Maitama Tuggar has described “Hope Sentinels Magazine” flagship of Nigeria First Vanguard (NFV) as a veritable tool showcase the milestones of Nigerian diplomacy ranging from its leadership in regional peacekeeping to advocacy for equitable global governance.
Tuggar who made this known Monday at the official launch of the maiden edition of the Magazine in Abuja said it would serve as a resource for stakeholders seeking insights into Nigeria’s strategic partnerships and foreign policy direction.
Tuggar represented by the Spokesperson of the Nigerian Foreign Ministry, Kimiebi Imomotimi Ebienfa said the publication represents a significant milestone in a collective effort to promote Nigeria’s image, values, and achievements on both the national and global stage.

“In an era where information shapes perceptions, the Nigeria First Vanguard magazine serves as a vital platform to articulate Nigeria’s story—our progress, challenges, resilience, and aspirations.
“As a nation, we have long recognized the power of media in fostering unity, driving development and enhancing our diplomatic engagements.
“As you are aware, the Ministry is saddled with the responsibility of implementing the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 4Ds Foreign Policy doctrine, which is anchored on Demography, Development, Diaspora and Democracy. “The policy is rooted in protecting and projecting our national interests while advancing African solidarity and international cooperation.
“We are therefore confident that this magazine will create the platform to highlight the milestones of Nigerian diplomacy—from our leadership in regional peacekeeping to our advocacy for equitable global governance.
“It will also serve as a resource for stakeholders seeking insights into Nigeria’s strategic partnerships and foreign policy direction.
“I commend the publishers and contributors for this initiative, which embodies patriotism and intellectual rigour. To all Nigerians at home and abroad, I urge you to leverage this platform to project our nation’s strengths and engage in constructive dialogue on our shared future.

Meanwhile, Hope Sentinels as its flagship sought to explore the intersection of Governance, Legislators, and Security in Nigeria over the past two years of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
This special edition captures and reflects on the synergy between executive and legislative governance, institutional reforms, and national security milestones achieved within the past two years of the Renewed Hope administration of President Tinubu which also includes the economic development initiatives and Impacts of MDAs.
