The Anti – kidnapping, Human Trafficking, Child Abuse and Drugs Abuse Initiative (AKH – TRACADA) has commiserated with the Government and people of the Republic of Ghana on the unfortunate tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of Ghana’s Minister of Defence, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Minister of Environment, Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed and other officials which occurred on 6th of August, 2025.
In a condolence letter dated August 11, 2025 addressed to Ghana High Commissioner to Nigeria signed by AKH-TRACADA Founder/National President, Primate Belonwu Ezeanyaeche, it stated, “This sad incident has not only robbed Ghana of distinguished public servants but has also left a profound void in the nation’s political recompose.
There is no doubt that Dr. Boamah and Hon. Muhammed were dedicated and committed leaders who served their Ghana with unwavering commitment, and their contributions to regional security and environmental sustainability will be greatly missed following their demise.
Make no mistake about it, AKH-TRACADA stands in solidarity with the Government and people of Ghana in this period of immense grief. We share in the sorrow of our brothers and sisters in Ghana and offer our prayers for the peaceful repose of the departed souls.
“Moreover, our thoughts are also with the families of the deceased, as well as the entire people of Ghana.
“As partners in progress, AKH-TRACADA reaffirms the commitment to strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation which began with opening of AKH-TRACADA office in Ghana, even in moments of profound loss.
“We pray that Almighty God, the great Consoler with Ghanaians the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
Recall that AKH-TRACADA, a foremost Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) with strong focus on fight against Kidnapping, Human Trafficking, Child Abuse and Drugs Abuse recently opened its office in Ghana with the aim of collaborating with agencies and people of like minds to stamp out these social vices.
